What are Rebels?

Rebels Racing began in 1995 as the brainchild of experienced stock car drivers and constructors. The idea is to capture the essence of full contact British and European style stock car racing in a formula that pits driver againt driver in equal cars meaning that success is usually down to a combination of great driving and car preparation. A pleasant side effect of this equality of the machinery is that costs are kept low by comparison with most formulae that race regularly at the top venues.

Rebels Racing started well and has grown to be well respected and liked among drivers, promoters and fans of small oval racing. The "pocket" stock cars are popular at all of the top UK and European venues that they visit and despite their size, punch well above their weight in thrilling races involving up to 40 cars on track at any one time.

In 2010 there is plenty to keep the Rebel drivers and fanbase happy, with the usual major track championships, a summer tour to Holland (awaiting full confirmation), appearances supporting all major stock car formulae and the World Wide Rebellion Final at Coventry.
